Right on a serious note, when you go to reverse open the boot that way you can see. dont worry about looking an idiot you'v already done that by gloss blacking the windows

You heat it to get rear visibility. Something that is not of concern

its not smooth anymore, he gave it a sanding down with some sandpaper to roughen it up before spraying
