i just like how blackbirds were the pimp-daddy of all bikes until Suzuki made this: hayabusa is jap for blackbird eater hahaha

went through to westgate road in Newcastle on the back. got around 150mph on 1 wheel. poo'd my pants as I didn't have hold properly

That's incorrect. Hayabusa actually means Peregrine Falcon. For two reasons:

1. They do indeed eat Blackbirds
2. They can do over 200mph. Which is funny because these bikes, no matter how many different 3rd parties tested it, could not exceed 200mph.

Wasn't the top speed claimed to be 194mph depending on model year??

I always thought the name was due to the fact the Hayabusa(PF)hunted Blackbirds and not in relation to the speed.

They managed to get them to within 3mph of 200 consistently on tests. But the general limit was 194 aye, until they later limited all bikes to 186.
