I don't get why people don't want to fill it in. Takes like 10 minutes once every 10 years, hardly the end of the world.
Bet you all fill in pretty much the same information, and more, to get car insurance.

The whole thing took 15 minutes? Although i dont have kids so that saved time. Dont understand all the fuss.
For the record, the whole Jedi religion thing is immensely gay

It's ridiculous anyway. Seriously how controling do these people think they are. Also threatening with fines . The countrys fucked and all as they do is send forms asking about who lives in your house etc and job . How is that going to benefit anyone? Plus majority of people will be jobless anyhow . Waste of money IMO and no I haven't filled mine in and won't be either
Dont talk bollocks, why would you spend £1000 instead of using 5 minutes of your time online to fill a questionnaire in

The legal requirement to complete a census return, for England and Wales, is set out in Section 8 (1) of the Census Act 1920 and in the Census (England and Wales) Order 2009, Census (England) Regulations 2010 and Census (Wales) Regulations 2010.

No personal information is released from the Census for 100 years so some people might want to get their facts straight before they start on the 'this country' bandwagon.
Mum did ours in under and hour at work... there's 4 of us at home

The majority of people will be jobless, really?
No wonder your only source of income is stealing off family.

The legal requirement to fill it in has been in place since 1920 according to what Andy posted. They probably used to chop your hands off back then instead of the 1k fine.
