Thats one of the reasons also the chocolate gear boxes like the 150 cdti and the turbos are known to go around the 40k mark and its nearly on 35k.Im hoping i can get 6months extended warranty until i find something diesel.

What did you buy that for if you want a diesel, after being advised on here a million times to get the diesel?

On the warranty thing, it doesn't matter who fits the stuff as long as they use Vauxhall parts.

Having said that though, my experience of Vauxhall warranty has been pretty poor, they use every excuse they can think of to get out of honouring it.

Called into my local vauxhall today and asked about the extended warranty as mine expires on the 24th of this month and said its £399 (1year) £499 (2year) £599 (3year)

Does that sound about right? it's alot more exspensive than what i was expecting if im honest.

A couple of people on AON have mentioned this company as they offer a wear & tear cover in the premium package and its half the price of vauxhalls 1 year cover.

Anyone had experiences with them?
