We had 2 993 Turbos in recently
one for a colour change- burgundy to black
another in full silver re-spray
both utterly gorgeous cars

Love them. I went on a feature shoot we did recently with 4 different classic 911 shape variants, including an all original and 3 Paul Stephens built cars (www.paul-stephens.com) which were 964 based with older or custom panels - older looks with more modern engineering. I like the looks of the less modified examples, but you can't beat the nostalgia of an old original classic. I think the 80s 911s are fantastic. AKs is a great example.

aye - mine is pretty damn 'stock' at the moment. Complete 80's - stockbroker, red braces and huge briefcase mobile phone nostalgia! The car smells of Maggie Thatcher

Either of mr bernard's in the classic s&s would do nicely.
For a road car, 964 turbo S, 993 Turbo S, 996 GT2.
Bath's will be taken on 964 RSs and 2.7 ducktails like all other commodity bubbles.

I have an '81 SC.
Depends what you want really, but I'd say they are a good usable classic of sorts. I wouldnt use mine daily, but they are more than up to it. (no power steering, no servo assisted brakes, heavy clutch)
Great to drive though

Love the exteriors, but couldn't live with the interiors compared to modern standards.
