Youre my age, and I might be generalising but its likely your girlfriend is younger than you. She sounds immature if thats how she can react, my girlfriend was similiar in ways that she would take problems out of proportion and act irrationally. Its immature, doesnt sound like someone who should get married at all, especially as they clearly havent reached their peak level of maturity in which time opinions and feelings will change. Until you are both grown up enough to understand the commitment that comes with marriage its not sensible in my opinion.

I don't think its getting engaged or married for granted these days...its having kids for the sake of it (mainly tax/scumming reasons)

has its ups and downs like eveything else.
its just a next step in life. i think it wud be sad if u ended up 50/60 yrs old and not having been married.
marriage can be a good step, only when the time is right tho.
