ooh, the sarcasm. The reason macs weren't able to get viruses is because they weren't popular, so you'd have to spend a lot of time infecting 1 mac user, whereas in the same time you could have infected potentially 100 PC users, viruses for macs do exist nowadays, but everyone knows only fags use macs anyway
Perhaps, but mainly it was due to Macs being PPC rather than glorified 'PCs' which they are now.
Are you sure? I thought because OSX as just a glorified version of FreeBSD with a pretty face writing malware/viruses for a windows platform is alot easier than something based on linux/bsd. Think about how many holes there are in Windows and how many Windows users log in/run as Administrator. on a linux/bsd based system you normally have a login that has just user privileges and su to root when you need it..

Woah woah woah, do you know how to use this and are you qualified to tell people to use it? It's not the same as a normal antimalware. Also it doesn't remove any files, just stops them from starting their processes.

True, it's more trojans and key-loggers with OSX though - Source, Source.
Also remember reading a Def Con/CanSecWest article, will try and dig this out was a few years ago, which stated that OSX is number one system for finding vulnerabilities in competitions. Charlie Miller CanSecWest reports (No the report but a source) are worth a read about the 'zero day' exploits he found.
And XForce reports are also worth a read, basically they stated that OSX is the most vulnerable OS - Source, Source, Source
P.s - i'm not saying OSX is shit, far from it. But it isn't as secure as you're lead to believe (no OS is tbh).

my ex's always used to break, the wire would fray, n like you say..not cheap to replace, I remember unzipping a file on her mac once, I wasn't executing it or placing it in any dodgy locations, just unzipping to the desktop, anyway mac crashed, so I reboot...nothing, oh shit. Fucked the hard drive, wouldn't have happened on a windows, reboot them fuckers whenever you feel like it and they're fine

I have two PCs, they're both running that shitty microsoft stuff that needs 10 firewalls and 50 virus scanners
EDIT - I also have windows on my macbook pro too, but I only use it for VAGCOM (because it's so shit)

I only have one firewall and one virus scanner. Does that mean that a smelly Nigerian has all my bank details?

Aren't they like £30 from Amazon?
Just managed to install 10.6.7 on my ancient Dell laptop; apparently it's equivalent to a Macbook Pro according to XBench

Dual boot OSX and Windows on your PC then. Hardware is near enough same as 'PC' hardware anyways and multitouch trackpads you can buy if you're that worried.
Edit - HP also do multitouch trackpads.....
