Keeping in mind of the fact they are half the price of R888's, I think they are pretty good on flowing circuits such as Nurburgring, Silverstone & Brands Hatch. On Combe & Lydden I find they can't take the punishment so much and just start understeering, but that could be other factors such as I'm not using Nitrogen, don't let me tyre pressures down before going on etc, all things I'm starting to take into account when going on track now!
They last me roughly 6-7k miles (on the front) but that's with fast road racing (on closed roads officer) & a couple of trackdays usually so not bad. My only criticism is wet weather driving they are shocking, but I don't drive hard in the wet so doesn't bother me, only be an issue if it rained or is damp on a trackday I'm doing, which makes it interesting

good pics mate, i was in the dc5 white teg. did you get any more pics of it. i was also on pradas, you sumed it up well, there no where near as good as r888. run them on 24psi and you'll find alot more grip with them. when i first used them set i set the pressures to 31psi and after roughly 6 laps they were upto 40psi

I'm not too hot on my Honda shapes but the only white Honda I have a picture of is an EP3 is it not? After speaking to people when I'm home about the tyres understeering towards the end of the lap it appears this might be my problem, I've never let tyre pressures down before, so might have to start doing that! Or get hold of some Nitrogen!

Never! Couldn't pay me enough money, I reckon you have to have a brain cell missing to do that. Not only because I wouldn't be confident but because of other peoples driving around there.

It's up to you if you want too, not that I want to put you off here, but a biker died on Friday, Saturday & Sunday! One of them was because of a car going flat out and hit them into the barrier! Fuck that

TBH cars mixing with bikes is usually only going to end up one way. Plus I can think of more fun things to do than sit on a sports bike for hundreds of miles on a motorway!

Yeah, there was 3 guys staying in the same hotel as me, they hire a van, split everything 3 ways and put their bikes in the back, share driving etc. Much better way of doing it and probably cheaper when you are splitting it 3 ways! Plus if anything was to go wrong, even mechanically, you're not stuck!

You can hire an S1000RR now, madness!!!
