Lol what, unless you have anger problems you wouldn't smash a petrol station up because the price has gone up. Keep in mind it's a tax - the petrol stations have no say in the matter, they only make about 4p per litre themselves

Exactly. But i bet the mindless population of the UK dont realise this so Mr Texaco will loose business.

They also have a blatent disregard to other people who may need fuel to get to work etc.

I know if i rocked up at my local station and there was a load of bellends outside so i couldnt get my fuel i wouldnt be best pleased.

Arseholes the lot of em!

Do you smash up the bar maid in your local when the price of a pint goes up??

Or the spotty teenager in Tesco when food goes up.

Sounds a bit of a silly thing to say tbh

Dont drink beer.
Its all part of the road rage. My route to and from work is full of selfish bellends and there is ALWAYS ques of traffic due to them which boils my testosterone. Price of petrol is the cherry on the cake.

No he doesn't notice those, it's just the fact that the price of petrol and diesel are advertised at every petrol station so it's hard not to notice. The little label on the shelf in the supermarket is unimportant so when that price shoots up it doesn't matter because he doesn't notice it

I bet these fuel protest rumors are started by petrol companies themselves so people panic buy

Bugger it, i'll just fill up this weekend like I always do. If a petrol station doesn't have fuel, then i'll just go to another one. It's not like there aren't other petrol stations I around. I need my fuel to get to work, as there's no public transport at the time of morning for me to get to work, as I live in a small town in the country. I'm not gonna panic about it all. It's not like this hasn't happened before hand. lol

Right enough because bread prices increase as much as petrol and bread is just as important to your every day working class person why relys on fuel to get to their work which they do to pay their bills.

Petrol price 2009 - 89.9p
Petrol price 2011 - 139.9p - thats an increase of 40p per litre or £24 on a 60 litre tank.

The cost of rise in bread doesnt quite make a good comparison.

It did go down though didnt it from 2008 (approx 110.9p per litre) to 2009 (approx 89.9p per litre) A repeat of that again would be nice.

2/3 of petrol cost is tax anyway, lets see the tax cut.

They wont lose revenue if they give us back our 2009 prices, they'll just have the same amount of tax as they had in 2009. They've only made extra money which has been spent on a stupid campaign in Libya now anyway. They'll be in the same position.

Shell's first qtr profits have been £3 billion, a rise of 40% on their last, and petrol has gone up near on 40%!
