Needs a new model to be released before it will tumble properly.
I bought my E46 when it was 4yrs old for 18k, sold it 18 months later for 16.7  It was the old model then though.
4yr old E90's still 25+ just now but are still current model line up.
Not sure when the new M3 will be probably a few years.
I think one of these 1M's will hold value pretty well..............
