They do not handle bad at all. Clarkson hates Vauxhalls FACT. As said you could chuck any car into a corner and wrench on the wheel while dipping the clutch and flooring it, it will understeer.

Id have one.

I would hardly call it a test drive.

And any front wheel drive car with big power, if driven like that, foot to the floor in a corner is going to light up the front wheels, smoke and understeer like a bastard.

Clarkson is a knob and cant drive for shit, particulaly with his own personal hatred for anything with Vectra in the name.

You could probably get any FWD car to under-steer badly if you tried hard enough.

he doesnt hate the vx220.. but thats proabably because it doesnt have vauxhall written on it lol

I drove the saloon and the estate at Oulton Park a couple of years ago and they are a nice drive and didnt really suffer understeer.
My only gripe was the gearing....3rd gear is so loooonnnnnnnnnngggggg

Wasn't the VXR on TG some sort of prototype and not actually a forecourt model? Or was that something else they tested, like the Astra maybe?!

They have done most of that already!

Plans have been scuppered as i now cant find the couple i found that seemed like bargains, all the ones on NQ and AT are all leggy and expensive.
