The vinyl will be dull and scratched within a year and can never be polished or restored.
Not to mentioned that when standing next to it you will see all the horrible overlaps and imperfections, that come with a wrapping.
To remove the vinyl will require extensive work with tools and chemicals, that will in turn damage the paintwork.
Budget for a respray if you want to buy that car...

please tell me you're not serious?
best get on to ford and tell them they've damaged the panther black paint under the matt black wrap on the focus rs500.

So the vinyl will look prestine in a year? And you can easily polish and wax it?
There is not a spot on the car where it's noticeable that instead of liquid paint the car has been covered in a foil?
Or do you think that after heating this self adhesive material on to the paint, if you decide to remove it you can just peel it right off?
Please tell me which part is a "load of bollocks".
I will stick to my claim that vinyl wrapping is for company vehicles, taxis and people who want to make their car look cool on the internet.
It's a half arsed way of avoiding a respray and will NEVER look as good in real life as a paint job.

It does just peel right off didnt leave any adhesive on my bonnet nor damage any paint work, you cant polish it obviously but you can wax it with certain types

See as a blue car with black roof it was stunning, and she ruined it with a big sticker on an ugly car.

TBF Balling does have a point with most of what he says!
You can't polish it
You can wax / seal it though - even satin ones as Swissvax now do a special range.
Finish is never as good as a decent respray - but will look better than when Stevie Wonder is let loose with a spray gun!
Re. damage to paintwork - occaisionally it can cause a small amount of damage - predominantly sweat marks and the odd scratch. Other than that, removal is possible and damage free, just time consuming.
However, I don't like it tbh - looks a bit chav imo, and a shame the engine bay is still blue - still stands out like a sore thumb.

but for 7.5k, someones going to get a serious bargain and pull the vinyl straight off to reveal pristine paintwork.
