im taking it that the d16 engine right?? best mod you can do 4 that is whack a turbo on it best n easiest mod you can do..with some managment can get 200bhp..them engines are strong n can handle near 300bhp on standerd internals

yeah its the d16 going to get it running right for a while then save up a few quid and buy the turbo kit dont worry its been thought of already haha also am going to do the mini me conversion at some stage.

Engine mounts have been made up and engine is finally hanging without the aid of a jack and wooden blocks just have to make up the back and front mounts for it also raisded the engine up an inch or so so theirs no chance of it catching on any ramps which is good. More progress to come as i go along.

well with being at work all week not alots got done one this bonnets been fitted again and theirs no clearance issues distributors on and theirs no problems with it either. have the radiator in place now to have to get a couple more mounts made up for the front and back of the engine then figure out on how the hell am going to work the gears lol. should be a good bit more done tommorw evening and saturday more progress and pics to come.

more progress made today got the gear linkage made up and selecting all gears which is sweet had to shorten the original vaux one by 3 inch have the dash pulled out of the car to get ready for the wiring to begin also have a clutch now to which is sweet. also bought bigger brakes today 255mm off the cav with callipers for 40 quid and the disks are like new

cheers adam alot of work is going into it when i can am flat out workin at my real job to pay for the for everything haha only get near this at night and the weekends.

aw jamie its not all that bad of a run i was workin in lisburn their a couple of months ago in ballymacesh primary school i got used to the journey lol

Theirs still some more room in their lol.



then the fun begins dash pulled out and rover dash is out to now to try and wire it.also on the look out for another brain to get socketed and superchip the car to get it to rev to 9000rpm. also bought some bigger brakes.

and a little teaser still needs plummed and wired tho.

yeah suprisingly enough and didnt have to cut any thing. and the mounts are pritty heavy duty so their going to no where at all.

well you can think that lad but the guy thats helping me with it built a 214 rover that has 250bhp with 250lds of torque and is fit to run the 1/4 mile in the 13's and built a kit car and used to have a company that tuned cars so i think it will go well videos will prove you wrong.
