The most recent update was in October of last year. You'd feel like a mug having bought a Core 2 Duo laptop for over a grand only for it to be updated to non-5 year old technology a matter of months later.

It's bang on time, a new iOS should be the perfect "cover" for the conference. It's not a completely new phone just a rework like the 3GS was so not as big deal as the iphone4. Perfectly possible

Last slide states it's a concept he (Federico Bianco) created.
Looks amazing though, some of the features should definitely be implemented.

i just dont think the whole of apples ios5 notification upgrade hangs on one developer. No doubt he can bring something to the team though
