Ordered Vreds. They were awesome on the VXR. And the tread pattern is cool lol. Other options are a bit boring.

seems to be a good effort
On the 1 series I got 28k out of the rears and the E90 is looking like the same but the Run flats seem to last longer
I have always favoured goodyear but the e90 is on bridgestone and they are very very good - but no doubt expensive

By E90 do you mean 3 series?
I bet you don't say E90 when somebody asks what car you've got, it'll be even less specific with BMW.

Just put some kumho's on mine, they're alright given they're priced near enough the same as the budget shite I had last time that lasted all of about 6k

in fact i do - as most people recognise the current model as an e90 and the coupe an e92.
Not sure why that matters in this thread
Ben has asked for some input on tyres and people have given them to him. So if my post bothers you U2U me rather than spamming Bens thread
And then Ian and co wonder why this site is getting a reputation for nob heads posting shite

Should have clarified it by putting E90 MSPORT just to avoid any confusion.

really - and you have experience of that
They are safer - you don't have to carry a spare and also last longer than normal
Also most new cars have had there suspension altered to suit the runflast
BMW suffered from poor review on run flats when they were first introduced but since have revised the suspension and the ride is much better
for your track puma with diff run flats would be no good for that extra 1 second or so at the ring once a year

Mine handles well on run flats. Probably would handle a little better without but I'll stick with the run flats. It'll be a minor difference I bet and I'd rather not have to start carrying a spare wheel round.

It's the noise. And don't tell me I don't know because I do. They are noisey and horrible. Rather carry a spare.

Audi have stopped fitting runflats as standard due to customer complaints and issues. You can spec them tho.
Tbh I was glad due to the extra cost of replacing them, but as 255/35/19's are fucking expensive anyway, its not made much difference.
Vauxhall had it right in the Astra VXR. No spare, normal tyres and a can of VX Tyre Weld in the boot.
