it is chained down now,

I'm hoping to refit the subframes at the weekend, they've been shotblasted and painted with 'chassis black' (gloss finish) and I've bought a cracking set of alloys for it.....mini starmags......straight fit aswell!

so should be back on its wheels by next week (depending on the weather)

thanks chaps,

the plan is......
finish the welding
collect the rear subframe from the shotblasters and paint it (front subframe is ready to go back on)
get it back on its wheels
bonnet, doors and boot lid back on
paint.....not decided on a colour yet though
glass and interior back in

then the big question......original 1000cc engine rebuilt of course or the common conversions for these (in france) are motorbike engine or......porsche boxer engines!

decisions decisions
