pretty sure it was one of these though the rear body work wasnt fitted nor were the wheels which were like 14 inches wide or something

So they strip it and then prime it so it doesnt rust? Then you carry out repairs underseal and paint it?

they strip it and remove all paint, rust, sealer and grime. they give it back, you carry out all steel repairs, they then give it another dip to remove any surface rust and carbon from welding.
they then either give it back for you to paint or they dip it in an electrophoretic coating and give it back for painting
