As a drivers car, the astra wins hands down for sure. It was more involving, and you could drive it better with more edge and fun.

But

the S3 is so so much better. It rides the bumps far better, its quicker (tested ), the brakes are far superiour (big ol calipers and disks), and the interior quality is on another level to Vauxhall.

Its just as economical as the astra, but with more go, and the fake 4wd really worked in the snow. It is a better car, but not sure its a £12k better car than the VXR was. I miss driving the astra, but only for a breif second

Thought you was a vauxhall nut? What happened to you and your birds nurb?

Cheers dude. Your spot on. There were loads for sale in a cheap bracket. We even had a joke about how lightly we got off with getting rid of that car.

Gearbox was absolutly knackard. Reading online, seems quite a few more have busted too. Sh1tty M32s, absolutly awful gearbox. How can a huge company go so far backwards? F28's never had this problem.

We picked a 56 plate up last year from a dealer for a customer that was absolutely immaculate, 1 owner, low miles, FVSH, one of the cleanest used cars I've seen, pretty sure we only gave 6k for it.

MWG, as its a rare occasion I have the car at work... Dirty, meh, don't do car cleaning anymore (when did spending a whole day cleaning your car go? ). To think of the abuse about selling that car from users "in the know".....

Do like those. Classy car and the interior is easily best in class. I'd got one if they weren't so much more expensive to buy and run.

Really is a nice car for every day use I have to admit. Its just the grown up hot hatch (vastly overpriced IMO). I thought it was heavier than the VXR as well, but its only 50kg which is impressive considering the quality improvement you get.

JCW mini? Girls got one of the first ones in the carpark. I'd like one of those. 204bhp or something? hers being a very early one is the SC engine. Sounds fantastic. Shes a rich girl though, her first car. Jealously from me springs to mind.

Talking of jealously, any of you lot seen Brad Finchum? Bastid works at McLared on the MPC-12C race car.

For the love of god please don't powdercoat anything on it otherwise it'll end up being one of many never ending projects.

Get a Lupo GTi....got a cult following, wicked to drive and seem to hold their money well!

I'd love a Lupo GTi, but they hold their value above £4k, and i'll only have about £2k max really. Lost 8+ years NCB so have to start all over again with 0 Getting quotes for more money tpft, than it costs me to insure both bike, FC, protected with all the gubbins

Audio

FOR SALE:
A Joke used many times from the year 2010. Used more times than a hooker on heat, and as comical as a joint dropped in a bucket of water. And just as wet in humour

And anyway, at least triple/quad that figure
