If I'm totally honest and I know its bad, but WW1 isn't really a war that interests me.
I'm interested in the American Civil War more so, obviously my great grandfathers involvement and being in the Tank Corps is of massive interest but that's just a selfish interest TBH

No Russ. I was in the Army.
Well.....I was doing my basic training when I got offered my current job.
If I was not with such a bunch of idiots and the offer was not so good I would of stayed.

Well I fancied it as I was on a get fit thing, wanted a change in job and wanted to do something worth while.
Was going into the signals, wanted to do driving but was told in signals I would do it anyway but get more qualifications.
To be honest it was great, but being with idiots that did not want to do it does not give you much confidence, especially when they will be protecting your life.
Got offered this job, more money, less hours etc etc. Had to take it.
BUT, if I could go back in time, I would not leave.

The money was not what it was about for me, (not if I stayed in) it was more the job, the training and the laughs etc.
However, when you are working with lads that cant even iron their shirt after 8 weeks, you kind of give up hope.

I went to a concentration camp not to far out of berlin? (cant remember the name but it was basically on the edge of a modern day housing estate)
Anyway, i didnt really feel it like i thought i would. They had built new building on the site, and put tv's in and 'smart' screens to give presentations to the visitors. They had killed the whole point of what it was about for me.
