Exactly. I'll listen to a wheel refurb company who do this thing day in day out rather than some people on the internet

Small crack around the valve hole, common fault on Compomotive wheels and always repaired with welding. The company my mate works for (Lepsons) is probably one of the biggest names in wheel refurbing so if they say it's safe to do so then I believe them...

My point was that they're not testing the final repair.

I tested the weld & it's fine :-)
