I'd try Admiral tbh, seems to be dirt cheap for cars at the mo for me. Porsche boxster @ 21 is £1200 fully comp!

Put your parents as named drivers if they're record is good, will take a few hundred off.
Edit: and remember churchill/admiral etc prices are if you pay the premium in one hit, if you opt for installments they will wack more charges on top.
Congrats on passing your test

Insurance, try admiral multi car.
My little sis just passed, it was £1900 on her mini cooper on her own.
I put her car onto a multi car policy with admiral (Im with admiral on my alfa) and it came down to £1000 for her mini and my alfa stayed the same.

Yeah but your not 21 with 3 years no claims. was £500 more for my astra SRi i had before. Try quinn, they were pretty good for me when i first started. Or as said before try co-op as i have just gone with them and they were cheap also if you get the power-box thing they are offering it will be cheaper but you would just have to take it easy on the driving (as you should if you have just passed).

Really? They were my first insurance :S. I dont know what they are actually called but its on their website, its something that gets put in your car that monitors your driving (speed, braking, cornering, miles, time of day that you use it). So if you do few miles at non peak or late at night and you drive carefully it should work out cheaper. But if you drive how most of the people your age do then it wont.

the box insurance is good.
they put a black box in your car which records your mileage.
less miles u do - less insurance u pay.

Drive everywhere in reverse. Insurance pays you for minus mileage. Winner!

Get your mum or dad as the main insurer and get put down as a named driver. Some companies still give you ncb for this.
