that looks perfect tbh. ok so i'd prefer it if the wheels were darker but still nice.
get some flatblade wipers on there and strip the rear out.
there doesn't feel like theres much eight in the back but when i took everything out it weighed a hell of a lot and the car was definitely quicker.

would you really benifit from stripping the car? you might get an extra couple of mph and lets face it its not a pure track car so will just ruin what comfort you have..
have you got coilovers all round? adjustable ARB's?

didn't affect me much and i drove the car for about 3k miles with it stripped. you get a lot more noise which i personally liked but it definitely felt a lot quicker accelerating.

its more really being able to fit a cage in, the internet says im wrong but i actually think removing weight off the back wheels destabalises it

thats why i asked if you was ocoils, if you are it wont make that much difference, standard shocks with lowering springs.. yea i can see the point.
i just cant see how much difference it will make realistically.
you dont need a cage either, some good front n rear ARB's will do just as much as a cage imo.. plus a cage in my eyes is there for safety with the added benifit of stiffening the chassis up.
plus.. how much will a cage weigh? i bet more than what will be removed.

Very nice Steve. I was a little unsure about the white wheels before they went on, but now they're on, they look great! You can tell a lot of work has gone into it. Probably a stupid question, but on the rear bumper, what are the inserts next to the rear lights, are they just to allow access to the bulbs?

I'd never advise people they don't NEED a cage. You kind of do, especially if youre looking to take the car on track more. Safety first! As for destabilising the rear end by stripping it, you might find that actually you can ultilise the weight distribution by chucking the back end about a bit and pointing the car into corners, its actually a lot of fun.

indeed, probably works for most fwd cars that arent naturally over steery, the puma is already quite lift off oversteery, and with dif i can see it compounding into being a little too much if the back end was ultra light

It depends how the car is set up, it wouldnt be too much. In a synonymously lift-off oversteer prone 106, with a cage and LSD it was far more an advantage than a hindrance.
