its a 1995 and done 194,000miles

i did use to use it all the time, including in the snow/salt etc

there is more rust on the car, not really looked at the underside properly, but can see rust along the sills, but most of that will be easy to treat.

Cleaned things up a bit, really need to buy some more products for this type of thing



cut away the underseal neatly and revealed the extent of rust and cut it out with the dremel







hammertie hasn't lasted too well on the brakes, just flakes off, (these were the calipers i cleaned up really well and painted off the car..... am going to repaint them with the folia tec stuff

taken my wings off and started cleaning up the rust and on the lip where the arch liner fixing too, some of the holes for the screws have rusted away.

Not sure how to fix them, could try and get a strip welded and make new holes in it.

When i've heard people talking about rolling the arches, does that mean folding the lip up? how do the arch liners fix to it after that?

could get someone to cut out the rotten bits and weld a new bit in.

what sort of metal do you have to buy and where do you get it from?

wouldn't know where to buy stuff like that

i would image just steel plate the same thickness as the wing.
