Much prefer the nav set up in the R56 instead of having a dinner plate speedo. Shifts well!
I'll try and do one over the weekend to compare although yours is definately quicker!

I expected it to feel special, and in the end it just felt a bit of a rough ride and not that quick. Might be cos it was old though
Rough ride will more than likely be down to the runflats.
Standard S i drove before my works didnt feel quick but they are deceptive speed wise as you dont get a punch from the turbo.

My girlfriends Mini has runflats fitted & they're fucking awful. Can't wait to get some decent tyres on there!
Does look quick tbh, does sound weird without the SC whine though, I love that sound

I never use the speedo, always just the digi readout on the rev counter.
Harsh ride will be down to the run flats, mine feels soo much better with the run shits ditched, handles alot better too but that could be down to it being lower and the top and bottom strut braces ive fitted.
I drove a turbo'd one the other week and it just didn't feel the same without the whine

Private road mate
Yeah Fro and Rich get vids I guess it could of been a little bit quicker to 60 if I wasn't starting from lowish revs in 2nd gear too
Its quick but still toying with the idea of a remap and filter for next year, then it will be quick

Mine shifts, I whipped a R56 Cooper S down the straight on the 'Ring I imagine mines quite similar in pace to yours.
My Mini has a few odd rattles and squeeks from the interior, they are all like that and mine has a digital speedo on the rev counter but I rarely use either of them TBH, I know how fast I am going.

Oh and with runflats gone and coilovers and choice polybushes mine is quite simply amazing handling.
Looking forward to side by side test with the Clio on Wednesday on the drive home

I don't have a problem with the runflats so I'll be putting another set on when these are worn. I think mine is pretty awesome handling just on the standard suspension, its so much fun to drive fast!
Do you get a Sport button on the R53?

You need reporting for the crime of ruining a perfectly good car.

No sport button on mine.
Think mine has the JCW suspension but need to check for definate, handles very well for a standard car imo loves to be thrown around.
Only really been gym and back last couple of days so not had the chance to get a vid, ill try and get one like yours starting in 2nd around 20mph
