Hate when Clarkson does that, if you do the same in any car (sat at 60 in top gear), its going to take a while to pick up, turbo or not!

my Impreza might be slower than a VRS skoda in a straight line - if the Skoda was tuned.

My Imprea is only about 350bhp

uk turbo's are like 220 bhp the later wrx's where all like 230 bhp, sti is 276 bhp, jap spec sti 300bhp, and then you have all your limited edition specs that go up to 320 and 330 bhp

The thing is... Isn't that turbo threshold, instead of lag? With lag being when you're in boost and plant it and have the delay?

why is everyone arguing over this may i ask :/ pointles argument to me like i beat ym mates impreza in my corsa sport and i know it was agenuin turbo but the only reson i beat it was it was raged to bits and well under paforming and the lad would tell you himself i admit if it had a better owner i wouldnt have stoot a chance

i would imagine a 2.0 corsa might keep up with a wrx or turbo 200 with the power to weight etc, throw a corner into it then no chance or throw any variant of sti into it and i dont think the corsa will have any chance
