If I had plenty of cash I'd do that. Although he wpuldnt let you drive it away so would have to just load it up and do a jezzer on it with a bat.

Reckon he'd cry like a little girl. Wanker

Yes. It's people like him that forget that even though they're fun and very fast, you can't be asking stupid money for them. The kind of people that want these kind of cars can't afford it.

I know some people ask silly money for them but i wouldnt really class them as old hat mate, yes run of the mill turbo corsa's are abit more common but look at bigron's or that boy ricky's one or even nic barnes's,they are pushing the bounderies with them

There more focused track cars tho mate, not a standard looking car that'll be used 99% of the time on the road.

Agreed there are some fantastic testiments to the engineering side of them in the UK. As you said, Rickys and Nic's are exceptional but they're methodical and realistic about the whole thing. I know what its like mine owed me 10k+ but I sold it for a fraction of that and was always realistic. I knew that I wouldn't have any problems finding interest but finding someone to pay £6k plus would be the hard part. Money is only paper, time is priceless and at the end of the day, this is an old Corsa. Nothing more.

By old hat, I didn't mean every Corsa on CS. I meant specifically to people like this guy, specifying rules and ludicrous figures. If he was selling it 8 years ago, fair enough but nowadays, they aint nothing special.

Exactly. It won't stop people though. And if a 19 year old went round with £6500 cash would he turn it down? Would he fuck. Blokes a fraud.

He is defo way over the mark with the price but it does look clean, after him owning it for so long there will be alot of sentimental value in it for him and hes probably trying to gauge that in the price if you get me

Last time I saw him was 2007. Its had some money thrown at it, 4 pots, tubular etc. I'd say it was worth absolute maximum £4000. You could get a hell of a car for £6500.

I'd like to buy it, trailer it round the first bend on his road, unload it and then go bouncing off the redline back past his house just to see his face through the window.

Never seen it round here but then if he hardly uses it..
