gav, not going to combe, shitter , u came to mind when the saxo idea came up though
civic, good shout alex, always fancied the old shape civic, not sure whther the insurance would agree though
andy, ide be scared to ruin such a nice car :/, looks so clean and ideal though (rough asking price?)
i was looking at less than £1k to insure ideally, pumas are returning £1200

ouch, mine was 750 to insure with elephant at 22, 4 year ncb, 2 non fault accidents.

Neil, I've got 3 points and 2 years NCB and my Civic costs me £650 a year FC Cracking cars to drive. I'd personally go for an EG6 (The shape before the Civic Jordan, EK9 Type R etc). They are quite light, and an indestructable engine. My old engine was on 160,000 miles and it was driven HARD every day by me

here mine is:
As Danny said really, they are cheap to buy, and running costs are exactly the same as when i had a corsa 1.6 sport. tax is the same as the corsa and it wont go up (before 2001 registered)
Parts are cheap enough. just make sure the cambelt has been done, or if it hasn't really good haggling point
