I have filled out the form thinking it was an online quote then they said they'll call me or SMS me within 24 hours, wish these companies would let you know all this or I'd have just rung them.
So basically Admiral have quoted me 3k through price comparism and they're the only ones so far.

Rang Admiral, baring in mind I paid £1350 FC for 10 month policy in July, they want £972 extra until my renewal in May.
If I change my excess from £650 to £900 they want £852 extra.
Hmmm. I asked if there is anyway of getting it cheaper or is there no way of bartering halfway through a policy and he said no can only change the excess which is where I got those prices. My crash is 3 years old in January so I won't have to declare that anymore so insurance should go down a fair amount...

I've been offered one for a good price just insurance holding me back
Well I got a 10 month quote to £2466 without the crash it's £2030 that's with an extra years NCB too presuming I only got it at the end of this policy. So it's not even that much cheaper I don't think, not compared to the price of the whole quote anyway! Thinking I might just go balls deep and get it

That's ridiculous. Why are we getting such different quotes!?
I have got my girlfriend, Mum & Dad as named drivers aswell. Just took my Mum off & it dropped £40, my girlfriend drops the quote by £400!?!?! So weird. Was just seeing what it was like without them incase they were bumping it for some reason.
I'm 23, 4 years driving, 2 NCB, 1 at fault accident, why the hell am I getting raped so much? I've got it down to £2426 but that's on a 10 month policy! Without my crash and an extra years NCB it's £2004. Still way more than you are being quoted.

But be careful with that one bud as most companies now ask for any "incidents, accidents or loss within the "last 5 years"
Hope you get a better quote soon bud.

£1986 if I register it at my girlfriends house. Hers is a C risk area. £500 drop
£1586 without my crash and an extra years NCB as a reference for what it could be next year, but at my girlfriends house again. This is more reasonable...
