Of course it is.
Would you class a car from 2001 as an old car?
Wouldn't say it was particularly modern, its a 10 year old car now.

people say that, but i honestly say that mine hasn't been that bad. My corsa was worse and i bought that with 33,000miles on the clock. I've broken down once in the corrado and it was just a burst water hose, and that was my fault.
Corrado is just an expensive habit really, people do compare the cost to owning an old porsche.
I agree, some bits are pretty poor, but its not important things, door handles, windows, heater controls, sunroof, headlights etc

it always felt like the car was chucked together without the slightest fuck given. my mk3 golf which was 2 years newer than the corrado, it never went wrong and apart from the active spoiler had everything the corrado had in terms of electrics and aircon

maybe not - wished I hadnt have posted
Just trying to show what damage had been done not debate over a shitty rado or whether its old or not
No one is disputing that a ten year old car is going to have component failure
He is fixing it himself as he works in the trade
Cost for parts is about £210 but putting a new clutch in also

i'm contributing opinions, i only seem to notice you when your not happy about my posts, i know they are a bit strange, but i'm more of realist imo and don't follow the crowd.
i don't see the problem, i think the debates are good

Do like these. Aren't the Haldex diffs a common fault on them? Remember looking at them when I could insure a faster car but the list of things to look for when buying put me off as it was fairly extensive.

Craig got the new shape but sold it recently. This was was as quick as the new shape but Craig got his remapped and it was so much quicker
