Use it if you have an issue to solve, I wouldn't buy it as a modification and expect some sort of performance gain.

Steve said you put exhaust wrap around your tyres to keep the heat in better round the nurburgring....I find this inexcusable!

Just thought it would reduce the bay temp and help with the heat soak, but it just seems its more for looks on a n/a car

Was thinking of wrapping mine, as many people said who it ruins my bay (and it does)

Not taking downpipe of though, possible with it on?

My manifold has it on it, but it wasn't me that put it there. CBA to take it off. But I might do as I've had people telling me it pops flames at every opportunity!
