typical, door frame didn't fit width was perfect, but needs about 2mm shaved off the top.

managed to get both walls plasterboarded and insulated, pics later when i've cleaned up.

would make a right mess though my dads either going to plane it off or go down to hit mates to cut it.

couple of pics of yesterdays progress:

nice rockwool insulation (hate the stuff, makes me itch like mad)



plasterboard and 2/3'rds of the frame in:



looks quite dark but eventually want to knock through the kitchen wall at the front and convert the garage into a kitchen diner (if we stay here longer than a couple of years).

update: frame is in had to plane some more off but now it fits and it's all screwed in place ready to hang the doors.

I wouldve had them fitted the other way, that way you don't loose as much space (as you wouldn't have, and haven't, had anything that way anyway due to the other doors!)

We looked.at every way they could.go and decided this was the best way due to the single.door opening. If it was the.other side then we woupd be walking into a table.and sideboard

I also didnt want them opening into the living room.

We had one - saved or leather suite etc

He doesn't bother with it now - doesn't even have a litter tray
