One benefit to working out of the UK/away from home a lot = not spending the extra money I'm earning by being away

Bad thing, is that I have a lot more time to browse online shops etc

And somehow, tonight, while sat in my Hotel room, I seem to have accidentally visited the Courtenay Sport site and bought;

DAP Lowering Springs
K&N Panel Filter
Courtenay Decal (because you just have to for extra pimpness)

Whoops.

Might accidentally buy new Brakes tomorrow too if I'm not careful!

New, uprated Discs (F&R) & Yellowstuff pads (F&R) are on their way now too...

I am terrible, not even had it a month.

You may need to register;

http://www.vxronline.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?153867-Vectra-VXR-Front-amp-Rear-Performance-discs-amp-EBC-Yellowstuff-pads-£335.00-delivered

CRN Products
10 Grooved Discs Front & Rear
Yellowstuff Pads Front & Rear
Inc. Delivery
£335...

Bargain considering Courtenay charge a similar amount for just doing the Fronts to a similar setup!

CRN advertise the sets for more off the Forums, but even those prices are very good IMO;

I don't like VXROnline as forums, but it's pretty busy and there are a lot of 'Tuners' on there with special offers, deals etc, so worth checking every now and then!

Yeah, just stuck on

Not sure about the plugs, I'm trying to book mine in for a service as the indicator is now on, but am going away with work again this weekend so need to wait until I get back.

There is a guide for replacing the plugs on VXROnline I think by accessing the coil packs?
http://www.vxronline.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?125109-How-to-replace-coil-packs.

Strange about the VxON bit - I don't deal with the registrations etc - bung us your email, and I can try to get the forum administrators to send one/another - it is quite quiet on there at the moment though.

sent them an email and got it sorted now anyway cheers

yeah seen those quides .. seems easy enough. but here people saying to re-gap them .. which i have always been led to belive that is a no no on iridium plugs.

ive asked on there anyway .. will see what people say.

What a ball-ache day...

Managed to make a start on fitting the new bits today due to a week delay on an overseas trip, but initial thoughts of how easy the Vectra would be to work on due to its age soon disappeared...

Managed to fit all 4 Springs, and the new front brake setup but ran out of light to do the rears.

Had issues with Alloy disc retaining bolts just rounding off and then not wanting to be drilled out, then issues getting the strut tops off resulting in a ground down 21mm Offset ring spanner

Pics to follow over the weekend.

Got some more pics during the week - the suspension has settled much more now and it is a bit more noticeably lower;

Need to start looking for a pair of front tyres soon too...
