thanks for the positive comments people! im trying to make this project as good as i can and do most of the work myself as i dont have a lot of money to throw at the car.

anyways! door whent on today, when i picked the car up i got 2 white dorrs with it but one was rotten so i had to get another, lukily for me but unlukily for mieran he was breaking his nova turbo so i bought a mint door off him and swapped all the winder mechanism and windows over.

picked up my mk1 front end stuff tonite thanks to kev and john! cheers lads! wings, bumper grill and windscreen all collected. only downer of the night was i smashed the windscreen getting it out the car! really gutted but nothing i can do about it now! piks over the weekend

Me and my pal steve took nearly 3 hours taking the windscreen out making sure it doesn't get damaged then you just smash it like that

Havent seen your XE corsa since PVS (thought you were putting a LET in it?.....or like me couldnt afford it lol)

Update...
been quite buisy, bought some mk1 wings, front bumper and grill, there all genuine parts which was ideally what i was after.
ill let the piks do the talking...

i decided to take the tank back off so i could plum it in.

the shell had been prepped to be a rally car so had the pump access welded up so i had to cut it out

some more piks to show how its prepped for a cage,

interior and loom is goin in this weekend hopefully as well as the dash so should have an update next week.

Update...

Bought a brown MK1 dash and was going to fit that but then got offered this grey one and my interior is grey so decided that would be best!

thats it half fitted as i found some of the mk2 plugs off the loom where different

a view through the window

also bought a new back axle, its all apinted up and has new shoes, brake lines and handbrake cables so saves me a bit of work

and got some wind deflectors for it, ive never seen any on a nova before so really happy with them.

feels like its getting somewhere now just wish i had more room!

oh and bought an engine or 2
