Seriously though, ive only had experience of a couple of GT's. Chris_uk's which was bob on from what i could see. And mine, which had a bit of a hard life but still went well. Eventually the valve stem seals gave in but even that isnt a big job to sort.

mine was fine, only thing i had to sort was the trailing arms as the bushes used to go in them alot. but i only did that once in i think 2 years.

if you look after them they are reliable let them warm up cool down etc and they will be fine.

Yep trailing arms on mine as well, engine mounts and exhaust down pipe but that was a consequence of the engine mounts being fudged.

I've just bought one a few weeks back in pretty much mint condition. Running around 160bhp spax fully adjustable coilovers and lots more. 12 months mot not a sign of rust both bodywork and under car. Handles very well 50 times better than my coupe. Gt3 sreg all for 1500 bargin it was
