320 are more common and can be remapped very well, cheaper to buy and insure too. I have an 06 320cd sport convert for work, goes well, 47mpg average on 19s

I was looking at 320d but thing that put me off is that turbos are common to go on them at around 100k and that the swirl flaps go on them although you can buy kit to replace the SFs. i'd imagine cheaper to run too.

Wow thats good on fuel!
can anyone explain more on this
" steptronic gearbox (auto & manual) "
are the auto boxes ok for mapping?
how much are clutches/cambelts etc for these?
cheers
My 330 was steptronic, can run it fully auto in two modes or you can chose a 'manual' mode whereby you move the lever up or down to change gear.
Autobox was very smooth to drive but drank like a fish being petrol
