In my experience an M3 isn't about the speed. It's not a supercar

there is no fucking way a diesel astra is matching an m3, yes i know an m3 is not a supercar but its a damn sight closer to one then an astra CDTI,

i just cant see how an evo with 10bhp more, probably similar weight (give or take 100kg or so) , 4wd transmission loss is going to slay a car with 10bhp less........ lets be realistic here.

It's coco's missus that has the BMW but it's a diesel lol. He's still got his Evo, he's doin the track day down south in a few weeks.

thats fair enough, just dont physically seem right, numbers wouldnt add up. I am the first to join the anti M3 in every thread bandwagon aswell but they arent exactly a slouch

I never said they were a slouch but there just not as quick as people make out. The ones I've had a play against ain't anyways.

I honestly would love to have one for a few weeks just to see what all the fuss is about. That's the only way I'll change my mind on them.

My 285bhp Mazda destroyed Stage 2 VXR's and I was still being left behind by M3's with decent drivers, so I can't see it personally
