i went to amsterdam the day after boxing day and stayed there for new years.

best xmas time i've had

Giant exaggeration Ben Glasgow city was bad last year, Edinburgh city wasn't too bad! But that is something to bare in mind, we have had bad snow all round the last couple of years.

I love going away over Xmas. Been to quite a few cities in Europe. My fave being Amsterdam and prauge.

I'm back off to Amsterdam just after the new year with the misses, can't wait

Been a few times, its lovely in the Summer but so quiet in the Winter. I might be going next weekend, dependent on whether my brother has got free time.

As Russ said, if you go be aware of pickpockets, he wasn't taking the piss. They're everywhere.

Try to be as near to Las Ramblas as you can, some hotels on websites are fucking miles away from anything.
