If any England fans actually cared they would organise a massive poppy placard display behind one of the goals.
But that won't happen as wembley will be full of people who don't really care about football, they just want to go see the famous people and do a Mexican wave.

Can't dock points surely when the game question is a friendly - no link to qual games?
Let the fuckers fine us.

Didnt the poppy get worn before World War 2 to infact remember those who died in World War 1? Originated in 1920, did it not?

What the fuck are you talking about?
I don't think even he knows tbh
Is he referring to the banner that read;
"Our group and many within the Celtic support do not recognise the British Armed Forces as heroes, nor their role in many conflicts as one worthy of our remembrance".

I watched Braveheart last night, first time I have ever seen it. Very good film, be awesome if the Scots and the English went at it like that again. On horseback, no modern weapons, leaping over drystone walls with a dead pan face where I have seen so many horrors.
Gentleman, to bed, for tomorrow, we rise at first light.

Someone on facebook said fifa have ordered the ref to call off the game if the players do wear poppies. Is this true?
If so, good news. No one wants this friendly anyway.

Coming from a Liverpool fan that spends his spare time riding horses that hurts. That hurts real bad.

He will be but it was a typical OJC brainfart.
Went right off the rails since he met that coke head.

Im going and said we should take something, but gf says shes not going if I do
Something should be done though
Agree with OJC though the irony of fighting for freedom and to then be goverened into not doing something because of someone else is a bit bad
