i know who he is from when i had my mk3 ibiza cupra.... i just think you shouldnt get your hopes up...
by the funnel effect i mean, since that part of the tube is restricted then the rest being wider makes no differance?
nice car though

Most TIPs cost around £120.
I've used expensive ds2500 and ds2000 pads in the past and now on cheap £27 mintex ones. And tbh, there is no difference in stopping power between the three.
no difference beetween 27 quid mintex and ds2500's? pull the other one seriously! go do a trackday on chep mintex then do a day on 2500's.
Looks a mint example mate looking forward to see where you go with this

I don't do track days, I'm talking about everyday driving.
Seriously, no difference! Don't waste your money. I've gone through 3 sets of DS2500s and 2 sets of DS2000s and the only difference was the price and the extra brake dust.

Well i've have a lot of problems with bad condensation on my windows, so bad that I've been using kitchen roll to get rid of most of the water build up as the heater aint enough and I put it down to the swimming pool I had in the rear footwell due to the door seals. They have now been sorted last month and the floors dry again. Underneath is probably still damp but I need to wait till the good weather is back in then I can remove the seats and carpet and dry it right out.
I went through the car trying to find the possible problem for the steamy windows as it was really getting on my tits then someone suggested the Pollen filter being wet and blowing out moist air as that is often the problem and overlooked by a lot of people with this problem. Now i've never thought of changing one as I always concentrated on the oil and air ones
This is what I found when I took the old one out, can you guess which is old v's new
It was absolutly soaking wet and manky as hell.
I hope this kinda cures it a bit till I get a chance of doing the seats and carpet.

Well it's seems to have worked. The windows still steam up a tad but that's just down to the rear floors. The difference being that they demist a hell of a lot quicker and actually stay clear. No more need to keep the air con on all the time now.
Well chuffed that a £7 filter makes so much difference.

Yep. I had the same problem with steamy windows, so much to the extent that on cold mornings there was actual water on the inside of the windscreen. That turned out to be a damp pollen filter. Make sure the cover in the scuttle is lined up and secured 100% or any rain water will get behind it and you'll be back to square one.

Pridzz - the doors have been done and are water tight.
Just need new grommets for the pollen filter cover and it's all done.

Finally got my induction kit on with the SFS 3" tip.
Overall thoughts are the dump valves louder as is the induction and turbo spool. It seems to have gotten rid if the slight hesitation as well. The car pulls a good bit harder now so it's been a worthwhile mod IMO. It looks the part as well lol

Well another wee update. I got my new EBC discs through, also bought pagid pads as the ds2500 pads were a bit over kill as i'll never put it on track. I forgot how big and heavy the discs are.

I did jay, they were good pads but for what I use the car for they were wasted really. If the Pagid ones are no good then i'll just swap them over. Hoping to have another car in a few months so don't really wanna go mad with this.
I had these all round on my old R32 golf dan and I have them on my Leon just now and they were spot on from the get go.

Last month I finally fitted the Weitec Ultra GT 50/40mm suspension after I found out the standard rear springs had snapped. Its not as low as I thought it would be but i'm kinda glad as it doesn't catch on any speed bumps.
After this the car was looking very dull especially the rear bumper which started to go pink and I decided to get it properly detailed. Having searched the net for a good company a new one popped up on SCN which was only 30 mins away from me.
This is the link to the guys work which is superb IMO

And a few pics
And this is the front wing after correction and refining:

Well now that the lowerings been done long with the detail I bought these last night.
Got the double bolt on type so that I can still use my original locking nuts. There 20mm wide so I hope they don't make the tyres rub on the arches. Goin to fit them today along with my shortened number plate so I'll get some before and after pics.
