I love it, I'm not exactly sure what people expect? It is a sequel, therefore it will be similar. I'm happy its similar to MW2, I loved it, and I love this too. Guns sound great, maps are good, pointstreaks are 100% better than killstreaks, all in all I think its a great game and no doubt ill be playing it more often than I should.

I'll be getting BF3 as well and switch between the two, love that you can drive vehicles in that and its more of a 'war' scenario.
edit: Loved the double scope rifle on one of the missions

Exactly my thoughts, I'm happy it is similar, look at Black Ops... thats what happens when you try to make things different and it was shit. If its not broken, dont fix it etc...
Funny you say BF3 is where your time will be spent Barnshaw, as that is VERY similar to BFBC2 too.
I love it anyway, I love MW2, MW3, BFBC2 and BF3.

you know how much i played MW2 , however this is a big disappointment, i would say its no improvement? could have done so many things, better perks, incorporated some of the theatre stuff from black ops etc, get rid of quickscoping and shotguns which shoot you a mile away? just make it a bit more realistic i guess.
it will still be good but i feel its taken a step backwards from MW2

the shot guns are crap on it, the grenade launchers are a fail which is a plus, no scavenger claymores etc, it has theatre mode from black ops, the support kill streaks limit the camping.
Its a good game

I know you played MW2 a lot (until you deleted me ), thats why I dont understand the hate, it is massively improved! Not massively different though, they are two different things. It has everything you have just said it doesnt?! Better perks by far, shotguns are pants and are now Primary Weapons... OK, Quickscoping is still there, and IMO is still too easy. BUT, as you know it is not easy, its still far easier to use a machine gun than a sniper. Give it a go you will love it!

i have given it a go hence why i posted in here. Its just not as good as the previous ones IMO, could have done with updating i thought, even taking enviromental damage like on BF would be a nice touch.

Yeah that would be nice, I keep trying to knife through fences and getting killed
Love the game modes too, Kill Confirmed is so much better than standard TDM

This!
Only had 3 hours of online game play, but so far I really enjoy the maps, new kill streak system and weapon XP.
Perks are a bit strange, but I'm glad they've changed it up a bit. Seems you get Pro perks VERY fast though...
Spawning seems much better so far, but that might be down to better map layouts.
