Edit: and the not filling up due to extra weight is pointless it just means more time out of your month spent at the petrol station, plus traveling to and from the petrol station. I used to do that when I first passed my test, putting a tenner at a time in, soon got bored when I was in the petrol station everyday, sometimes even twice a night
I put £50 a time in, pretty much puts it on half a tank, I then see how long I can make it stay between a half and a quarter, If my light comes on before wednesday afternoon, Its time to get grumpy

he probably carries a 2.0L bottle mate
Imagine walking around the shops all day lugging a 2.0 litre bottle around because you were thirsty and refuse to spend the premium.

It's not an extra 15 kg all the time, it's an extra 15 kg until you start it up then it starts diminishing until the extra £20s worth has gone and then you're evens again. Is it really worth the effort of more petrol station visits for the sake of what in the end, realistically my or may not be pennies difference?
Edit: Nice one Paul, delete your post so mine makes no sense

If you couldn't tell that was a joke, then your extensive knowledge of corner weighting cars has clearly effected your ability to detect sarcasm on the internet.

Lots of internet here, I think everyone needs to calm down a bit.
Anyway, I fill up twice a month and do about 600 miles-ish. Filling to the top means you can work out the mpg for each tank
Numberwang!

So you walk the streets with a big bottle of Coke to save cash? I never brim mine either, but at the same time the petrol station is on my way to work so I'm not losing much stopping off.

Van - does depend on what jobs I have that week (ie. how many are local) but average around £300 per month in diesel. £60-ish a tank.
Car - depends on how often I go to see the G/F per week and where we go etc, but now around about £180 per month £60ish per tank of V-Power. Certainly feeling the running costs of the car now I'm using it a lot more!
On a side note, my car will only run properly on V-Power, it runs like a bag of shite on Momentum and is down by about 40 miles per tank over V-Power!
