Was there not a thread on here full of pics of old hospitals/asylums?

Love stuff like this. When I was growing up there was a small abandoned hospital where we used to go conker picking. It was as though one day they just locked the doors and never came back. There were still trolleys in the corridors, utensils in the kitchen, calendars on the wall etc. Never had the balls to go inside though and most of it got knocked down a few years ago and they turned the main building into flats

round our way theres so many places like this, me and my mates have been to places every weekend for months now, and only just running out.

not so much round my ends, only thing in my town is the abandoned war memorial hospital... but cant get in there, too much security..

Hate the new work filter as used to look at those sites during lunch but it blocks any pictures from FB/imageshack etc and doesn't display them at all even as red crosses

the last ward i worked on, i had to walk through the old childerns department to get to my ward.
looks simular to the pics posted but with cots and stuff.

quite freaky walking through there on a night shift :/
