3 points from games against City, Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spuds... happy with that Newc fans?
goes to show the big clubs out of those that beat us. city and chelsea. the rest are mediocre teams that are on the same level as we are.

bit of a spanking in the end! bit harsh really. A win by 2 goals or more puts us above Newc finally

oRbbo, before the season I probably would have taken it as is now then no not really
Think we deserved a point today TBH, 2nd and 3rd goals came when we went down to 10 men and were chasing the game

i know this might sound daft, but if you take the scoreline away, we played really well. im gutted about the score, but the game itself was very good. tim krul saved us many times. perch was marking drogba for their first goal, which was after colocini was subbed. should have been against 10 men, but thats a big club decision gone against us. we played well though. we are a lot more of a team than weve been for a very very long time. work hard.

Newcastle fans shouldn't be too disheartened, the team they have just now is vastly superior to the sum of its parts and has been since the start of the season.
No one gave them a hope and they have been consistently churning out results. They're still a fair way off the big boys but that takes time and big bucks.

If that shot that hit the bar from Ameobi had gone in I don't think Chelsea would have gone on to win.
Newcastle played well. Didn't deserve to lose 0-3 from what I saw.

shows the fans also appreciate the team as previously there would have been masses of boo's at the end of the game and there wasnt. people were applauding the effort. getting the fans on your side is a major part of keeping a team as a team, and keeping team spirits together.
as long as they dont go out splashing mega money again pretending we are a club we are not, we should build quietly and be a stronger team.

I'm definitely pleased Paul, said before the season all I wanted was a top half finish and improvement on last season and even with the good run we've been on nothing has changed that
Need to take the performances we've had forward into the next 4 games against the likes of Swansea and Bolton and get good results

Pardew out.
Harsh score line. Should of been a red card the ref bottled it. If we play like that we can finish in top 10.

Colo might only be a few weeks, but Taylors is meant to be a fairly serious achilles injury. :/

Peterborough definitely offer the best value for money with their season tickets, tons of goals every week!
