Evo triangle was good the first time but head over Snowdonia way and there's far better.

I've done all the usuals, Snake, Woodhead, Buttertubs, Triangle, Cat and Fiddle. Of those the Snake pass is probably my favourite but I've driven some roads in Scotland that are better but I don't actually know what roads they were.

Forgot that I also like this, had some awesome NSL sections which were a great drive until getting stuck behind yet another tractor But the good parts far outweighed a couple of tractors along the way.

Have a look at the street view at various points along it to see what I mean.

My favorite local road is what I call the Rockley road.

The road from Newbury to Wantage is also great.

This one from Wantage to Ashbury is also great, but very bumpy.

It takes in the Uffington White Horse.

Fixed it. Also do the Wantage to Ashbury, after coming from Newbury. Once your in Ashbury turn right and that takes you back to the A420. Which is a shit road.

This is a run that I did a few times earlier this year, some great views and a brilliant road. At the end is one of the two shops I know of in England that sell Irn Bru in glass bottles, nice little bonus

I was tempted to go again a while back but it's a 6 hour round trip, seemed a bit excessive for a random drive out in the Combo

Honister pass is a good one too

I really do hate the A420 I got lost and confused in Swindon because the satnav was trying to take me down the A420 and I refused to go that way

Nice, I wanted to go round by the white horse at some point too. Stay on the B4000 until you get to the A361 and up to the A40 - that's my preferred way back instead of that dreaded A420

I was going to say this, or Hartside Pass, although it is quite scary at times!
