Had mine around 7 years, probably the best HU i've had. Although it's missing one of the knobs (Pioneer wanted an arm for a replacement)


Pow - what sony is that? And will it play media off bogo flash USB drives as well?

DEH-77MP is probably best I've had, mate still has it in his vRS

Not sure what I'll go for next, not fussed about CD's as just chuck my old iPod Nano in glove box.

BT is a must unless built into the car, saves having a parrot or similar.

Old one was an Alba, £50 in Argos and had everything, USB, CD, SD, Aux. I bought it because it had a CD player too but I never actually played a CD in it. Was very good value.



Current one is standard C one, looking to replace it though as I miss using my USB stick:

Only head unit I have ever bought been in all my cars x2 corsas x2 CTR's and the VTS



When I bought the VTS it came with that pioneer one that daniel corsa and other have had. Sold it to my mate for a tenner and its still going strong

Some cool stuff in this thread

What Ollie says tbh. Has to be Alpine country mile better than anything else ever.

Had Ida x100 in Z3, now lives in Mrs Jambos Clio

Ida x305 in Clio just sold and now have this cheapy CDs rm101 Alpine with BMW esq illumination iPod and cd. Plus seems more in keeping with the cars 1998 origin. Only mod previous chav/owner/mong that I haven't reversed.

I don't think the Alfa standard one with Blue&Me is that bad, bit slow at changing tracks on the iPod but good for a standard stereo.
