Are there any charges against the house? We've just found out that the reason the one we're after is selling is because there are £25k worth of charges against the house which can;t be traced. i.e. new owner has to take on the debt. (I don't understand the technicalities of it all but appears the previous owner ran up debt and did a disappearing act)
