I can predict it already.
Majority of people will be Scottish/English/Welsh/Irish then you'll get some from Glasgow and Northern Ireland who say British, thinking they are actually in the majority.

You are British nationals though, you are supposed to put "British" on any official paperwork.
"British" wording example from the Home Office:
http://www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/britishcitizenship/aboutcitizenship/
quote: "British nationality is defined in law."
quoted from that link above...

So why is nothing ever said? I'm a British Citizen, but Scottish is my nationality.

Also, as much as I'd love to say "Australian" in anything I fill in that's official, I still *have* to write "British" as I am a British citizen and a British national.

I don't care if by the letter of the law says I'm British. I'm still English if someone were to ask or if there is a form to fill in.

Because people do this all the time so I guess they just enter you as "British" in whatever system your details are being entered into.

Sam, even though you're right the Scots won't listen. They don't want to be British.

I'm not proud to be British, and I prefer Scotland over England. My only wish is that I was either born Scottish or that I moved here many years before I did.
