We're all entitled to our opinions. But saying it's BUILT NOT BOUGHT won't add to it's value, which is significantly less than a decent GSi.

People can be called morons for believing the car is worth over £800 too, Tom.

I see them at £400-£500 personally for a normal 1.2 8v, something on big miles will be around the £350 mark, guess it all depend on the location.

They are old engines now, reliability is the only thing going for them and the cars are like 15 years old anyone paying £600 for one better make sure it's pretty mint, little bit more and you can get a decent 1.4 sport.

As for small engines surely the 1.2 16v is a better option, more power and better on fuel, 1.2 8v hardly an ideal car in times where petrol is almost £1.40 a liter

about £500 tbh

based on the 1.2 8v engines being fucking shocking slow yet still burning silly ammounts of fuel in the process
