Although the bendy ones are on special too - http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_216036_langId_-1_categoryId_165572

Think they might even come in cheaper if you combine the cab?

The non-bendy are still full price - http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_811701_langId_-1_categoryId_165572

I got them for £40 a while back, worth waiting until they come back on offer.

Reserved and collected mine this morn. I have used and abused the 150pc set everyday for past 3 years so thought this would be ideal to have at home

The better boxes are also reduced.

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/SearchCmd?storeId=10001&catalogId=10151&langId=-1&action=listrefine&mode=discount&constraints=tcs||_PromotionCode||%3a182052%3a||sor||Price||1

That one is good and the black Professional one is better again but getting a bit daft on price.

Me and Ste have the red one and it's been fine, certainly strong enough for anything we're doing with it.

The black ones are lovely, they also latch closed which those don't, that box just gets a piece of wood under it to tilt it back a bit if its parked on a slope, cheaper

Black ones have much better feel, I;ve had red one for around 3 years now, and never had any issues with it.

I think even with the trade card, they'll come out at roughly the same price. Its normally approx. 1/3 off Halfords branded tools, not sure if that will apply to the tool chests.

I'm tempted by the professional set of tool chests, but I already have all the bits (and more) of the 120 piece set.

A 1/3 off a £200 tool kit alone makes it more expensive than the entire deal?

I know we didn't use trade on that cab because the deal was cheaper.

I typically find trade good for service items but it's not worth buying tools on it because the offers are better, you just need to wait for them.

Is there ever any deals on the tool trays?

For example...

I love mine, only thing you've got to watch is you don't ratchet your way in to something you can't get out of.

I did say 'normally approx. 1/3 off' rather than 'always exactly one third off'. It doesn't work for the first offer, but for the more expensive ones, it would work out cheaper if it was 1/3 off, but this is largely irrelevant as I don't think you do get the 1/3 off on the bigger sets. I've still got a load of receipts for the stuff I bought in summer, which is where I got the figure from.

But, if you reserve them online, you get another £15 off as they've got a offer on when you spend a certain amount on tools. I got both of the better ones for £184.99

Wouldn't work out as cheap though, as it can't be used on sale stuff. I do have a card, I'm familiar with how
It works

I was working on the basis that it was reduced in price, rather than on sale as such. I know it doesn't work on the offers normally, but I assumed it would work on them as they're reduced.

Doesn't mattery anyway, £185 is still good.
