Stuff like this happens, a few weeks ago i was heading home about 1am. Was on a big roundabout with traffic lights on, the coppers were at the lights in the right lane i was in the left, as i got near them they started reversing almost hit me then come speeding after me.
Got the same as you but i gave them a bit of stick for nearly crashing into me.

Seems a legitimate pull if you sped off, yeah he shouldn't have been so close but as soon as you speed up like that it does look suspicious. No harm done really.

got pulled tonight myself. absolutely rammo in town cus of christmas, police everywhere... got pulled and said just a routine stop to see if im a drink driver. fair enough, i'm all for it
he then said he needs to check the window tints and went over the car
REALLY? it's 3am, tons of cars driving past that could be drink drivers, and hes concerned about whether my tints r legal (i only had tints on the rear....)
i got a bit lippy saying er officer, i haven't done a thing wrong, this really is a waste of both of our time, any one of the cars going past could be a drink driver and i'm clearly not, can i please just go
he replied, "yeh fair enough, but you are known to us so expect to be pulled a lot, and be careful with that section 59"

Round hear I don't think the police is that bothered tbh I havnt been pulled in my last 4 - 5 cars my current car is a 1lt corsa with a stupid big exhaust and ya can see from the eye its modded police never bother me and if they do they only doing there job tbf

That's alright then, what I usually do is slow down to about 10mph then shoot back up to 30 again  Normally they then keep a distance unless I've then annoyed them, in which case they carry on as before.

The police round my way are absolute cocks! Last nyt I got pulled by them for parking in a garage waiting to pick the gf up! They decided my lights were blinding them pulling in, then decided to go round check every little thing on my car to see if they could find something wrong. Only thing he said was your exhaust is illegal! Like wtf! Wankers to the highest degree! Then they reversed of I noticed their reverse lights were flickering on and off should of flashed them to say they need to rip up their mot disk like they have done to everyone round my way who have dodgy cars!

Never been pulled over in my 2 1/2 years of driving. I've been followed plenty of times but never pulled over. Don't see how everyone has such a big problem with them.

I got pulled once for someone elses car.... :/
Driving out of town on my way home and another corsa with a massive japcan came blaring past (i have a completely standard system now) and the traffic car pulled me, claiming my car is too loud and accusing me of being drunk when i dodged a really deep pothole.
Also got pulled the other day for someone cutting me up on a roundabout and all i did was flash the guy and he slammed on trying to cause an accident. Police said i was in the wrong even though the other guy was in the wrong lane from the roundabout.
It frustrates me when they go after the innocent people alot of the time.
